| Fellowship Hall and Kitchen Policy Back to Home Back to Administration The CVAC Fellowship Hall & Kitchen is available for
wedding receptions, and other types of family gatherings and celebrations. An application
must be filled out for consideration by the church board at least four (4) weeks prior to
the date desired. Applications for use of the Fellowship Hall & Kitchen will be
considered for both members of CVAC, and non-members. Approved applicants must agree to
abide by the following policy: 2. Timing of Use: To avoid conflicts with other
church activities, the application stating the date and time of the intended use of the
kitchen and Fellowship Hall should be put before the CVAC Board as soon as possible.
Official CVAC events needing the Fellowship Hall & Kitchen will always take
precedence. Application for Non-CVAC events using the Fellowship Hall & Kitchen
conducted during the Sabbath hours will be scrutinized to a higher degree. Your use of the
building will be for a maximum of four (4) hours. 3. Respect & Reverence: The thrill of these
family-type celebrations brings great joy and happiness, but dignity and appropriateness
should always be maintained. We ask that the building be respected by using no tacks or
nails or any damaging tape on the walls, woodwork. We ask that candles, if used, be
drip-less, and concern for safety be priority during the entire event. No smoking is
permitted, nor the use of alcohol. If your event was not a wedding then your party must not
enter the sanctuary area, and the Sabbath School classrooms. 4. Church Property & Food: Replacement costs
for broken furniture, kitchen supplies, and food will be taken from the Refundable Damage
Deposit. The food in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator is the property of CVAC. It
must be left alone. The paper and plastic kitchen supplies are not be to be used. 5. Restoration of Hall & Kitchen: Since food
is assumed to be part of the celebration process, for sanitary reasons the Fellowship
Hall, and Kitchen must be restored to its original condition before you leave. The
following is a check-list of items that must be cared for before you leave. KITCHEN:

that four hours, then each additional hour or part thereof will be charged at a rate of
