Vision for Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to be a caring community where all are encouraged to find and encounter God. Our diversity in culture and ideas strengthens and binds our common belief in God.

Our Core Values

We are committed to…

  • Christ centered, Biblically based Preaching and Teaching
  • Believing in the absolute authority of the Word of God.

  • The Bible being the root of our theology.

  • Evangelism
  • Following the Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:18-20.

  • Making disciples for Christ.

  • Meeting the needs of people in our contemporary world – physical, emotional, and spiritual.

  • Living by the New Testament church model

  • Prayer
  • Seeking God’s guidance for our ministries through communication with our Lord.

  • Embracing the transforming power of prayer for praise and glorification of God, and as an essential element in the blessing of others and ourselves.

  • Godly Leadership
  • Highly esteeming leadership – which reflects the character of God – by demonstrating grace, love, integrity, trustworthiness and authenticity.

  • Endeavoring to foster an environment of teamwork where all have a roll to play in the life of the Body of Christ.

  • Teaching the Truths of God’s Word
  • Supporting and teaching people of all ages about the Bible and the Christian experience, both within the scope of our weekly Sabbath School programs and through other ministries.

  • Youth
  • Offering all we can to lead and grow our youth in their Christian experience.

  • The Lordship of Christ
  • Acknowledging Christ as the head of our church and desiring to absolutely surrender to His will – Proverbs 3:5&6.

  • Christ centered Worship
  • Demonstrating reverence, praise, and adoration, which are central to our worship of the Lord – Psalm 98 & 150.
