are approaching the midnight hour. (Example: The Midnight Ride of Paul
Revere.)
A. The call is given to Christians.
Awake! Watch! Mark 13:35-37
B. Tired of watching.
1. Weary tired of waiting.
Saying this for years.
2. Indifferent Lets get on
with life. Need to be concerned about making a living.
3. Disappointed I believed that
once, but nothing happened. 2 Peter 3:3, 4
4. Careless.
a. Christ coming as a thief in
the night
b. We dont know, so why

C. Parable of the Ten Virgins.

2. The oil is the Holy Spirit.
a. Accept the truth of Gods
Word.
b. Advocates of the truth.
c. They are attracted to those
who believe the truth.
d. Without the Spirit of God, a
knowledge of His word is of no avail.
e. Is it possible to know all
this and miss eternal life?
