The Connecticut Valley Adventist Church has developed a comprehensive Youth Ministry Program for both the young people of our congregation and youth from the community. A dedicated and caring group of adults plan and lead out in the many activities. The current program can be broken up into four categories:

Social Activities

• Our Youth Group frequently gathers to share in a wide variety of programs which seek to develop trust and teamwork among the Youth. After receiving expert instruction the youth go rock-climbing, kayaking, spelunking, camping, and rope-climbing.

Religious Education

• Various opportunities are presented to the youth to learn about faith and the practical application of religious teaching. Age appropriate classes and curriculum are taught by thoughtful adults.

Worship

• Our youth worship with the entire church family but on a planned schedule the youth are involved in worship services which are geared for their level of intellectual and spiritual maturity. The goal of our youth worship services is to help the youth see the value and the beauty of a relationship with God.

Service Projects

• Periodically the youth are involved in activities which brings real help to people in need.
