A. Take ROUTE 84 EAST into
Massachusetts.
- Route 84 ends at the Mass. Turnpike (also known as Route
90)
B. Take ROUTE 90 EAST
- After picking up ticket, look for sign toward BOSTON.
C. Take EXIT 10 off ROUTE 90
- After paying toll, bear left, for ROUTE 290 EAST.
D. Take ROUTE 290 EAST
- Route 290 is typically a very busy road. It goes through
Worcester.
E. Take EXIT 19 onto ROUTE 190.
- This exit is a combination of exits 19 &20. Exit 19
bears left.
E. Take ROUTE 190 all the way to
Leominster.
- Route 190 merges with ROUTE 2 in Leominster.
F. Take ROUTE 2 WEST
- Continue on Route 2 through the towns of Fitchburgh and
Westminster.
H. Take ROUTE 140 NORTH.
- Stay on Route 140 until you come to Route 101. There will
be a light at this intersection, and a Mormon Church across the street to the right.
I. Turn RIGHT onto ROUTE 101 at this
light
- Take Route 101 until you come to Route 12. This
intersection will be in the center of Ashburnham. The road will have many curves. You will
go past a school called Cushing Academy.
J. At stop sign turn right onto ROUTE
12/101
- After making this turn look quickly ahead of you for the
Route 101 sign.
K. Turn left onto ROUTE 101 NORTH.
- This is towards the town of Ashby and Mt. Watatic.
- The Camp is a few miles away from this turn. Continue on
101 and you will start to see a lake on your left. Follow the road along the water. At the
end of the lake the entrance for the camp Winnekeag is on the left.
